How to treat eustachian tube dysfunction

Patients with Eustachian tube dysfunction, often secondary to upper respiratory tract inflammatory infectious diseases, this situation requires targeted use of nasal spray hormone drugs to improve the treatment, such as mometasone furoate nasal spray, fluticasone propionate nasal spray. It is beneficial to improve the congestion and swelling or edema of the nasal cavity and nasopharyngeal mucosa, and promote the recovery of the Eustachian tube function. Some patients may develop adenoid hypertrophy or even malignant tumor disease conditions in the nasopharynx. The occupying effect of benign and malignant growths can cause compression of the pharyngeal orifice of the Eustachian tube, leading to dysfunction of the Eustachian tube. Adenoid enlargement can be further treated with surgical resection, and if nasopharyngeal carcinoma is clearly present, radiotherapy-based comprehensive treatment is needed.
