What causes enlarged mesenteric lymph nodes?

Enlarged mesenteric lymph nodes may be caused by upper respiratory tract infection, drug allergy, tumor metastasis and other reasons.
1. Upper respiratory tract infection: enlarged mesenteric lymph nodes are mostly related to upper respiratory tract infection. Lymph nodes are important immune organs of the human body, and after upper respiratory tract infection, the virus can reach the mesenteric lymph nodes along the lymphatic vessels, thus causing enlarged mesenteric lymph nodes.
