Treatment of vasculitis

The cause of vasculitis is complex, with inflammation and destruction of blood vessel wall as the main pathological changes, which can be improved by daily conditioning, medication and surgery. 1. Daily management: In daily life, it is recommended that patients should strictly quit smoking and drinking, avoid spicy and stimulating foods, and eat a low-salt, low-fat and high-protein diet in order to minimize the damage to blood vessels; in addition, they can also take appropriate exercise and maintain a good work and rest schedule in order to help the disease to recover. 2. Medication: Glucocorticosteroids such as prednisone acetate, methylprednisolone, etc., and immunosuppressants such as azathioprine, methotrexate, merti-methacrylate, cyclosporine, tacrolimus, etc., can be used to alleviate the condition. 3. Surgery: If drug treatment is found to be ineffective and combined with severe arterial stenosis, surgical treatment can be considered, of which common surgical treatments include percutaneous vascular luminalization, vascular stenting, vascular bypass surgery and so on. The treatment of vasculitis is a long-term process, it is recommended that patients seek timely medical treatment, and strictly comply with the doctor’s instructions for reasonable and standardized treatment.
