High-density nodules are generally benign, but need to be further combined with enhanced CT, nuclear magnetic or histopathologic examination to clarify the nature. High-density nodules are localized tissue proliferation, calcification and fibrosis, which are generally benign conditions and do not require special treatment. High-density nodules are more common in the lungs. High-density nodules can appear when there are inflammatory lesions or neoplastic lesions in the lungs. Tuberculosis or inflammation in the lungs can manifest as high-density nodules due to incomplete absorption of the infected foci. However, there are a few cases of malignant changes, so regular review is needed, and if necessary, further enhanced CT, nuclear magnetic or histopathological examination to clarify the nature. If high density nodules are detected, it is recommended to do further relevant examinations to clarify the nature and timely treatment.
