Can pediatric ADHD be cured?

Do I need to go to the hospital for pediatric ADHD? Can it be cured with standard treatment? It used to be thought that ADHD would heal itself as the child grew up, but this is a false belief; almost no ADHD heals itself. The most effective form of treatment for ADHD is medication, and it is not corrected well by home discipline alone. And because there are no obvious symptoms at the beginning of ADHD, it is difficult for parents or teachers to detect, when the diagnosis of ADHD often means that the disease is more serious, simple discipline can not be corrected, you need to take Western medicine, Chinese medicine to cure moderate and severe ADHD is also impossible. In addition, medication can be supplemented with non-pharmacological treatments, such as attention training, biofeedback training and sensory integration training. Can pediatric ADHD be cured through standard treatment? When is the best time for treatment? Through standard treatment, most patients can return to normal, and early treatment is needed, not waiting until the child grows up. As children get older, many behavioral patterns become more and more fixed, making treatment more and more difficult. Pediatric ADHD is treated as early as preschool age, especially during kindergarten, when it is easier to find out if a child is normal in a group setting and can be diagnosed early for timely treatment, so many children start treatment when they are in kindergarten class. What department should I go to for pediatric ADHD? You can usually go to a child psychiatry department or a pediatric neurology department. Some child neurologists in some hospitals also see ADHD, but the most important department to see is child psychiatry.
