Can CT photograph soft tissue injuries?

CT can photograph soft tissue injuries. Soft tissue injuries refer to muscle, ligament, vascular, nerve type injuries, mostly blunt injuries, contusions causing edema, a small amount of bleeding. soft tissue swelling, muscle layer, soft tissue gap edema and blurring on CT images, if there is bleeding, there will be a high density shadow. Soft tissue injuries are divided into open or closed injuries. Open injuries are completely visible to the clinician, and only in the case of closed injuries do CT exams need to be performed. The CT examination will be done to determine the presence or absence of injury around the examined area than adjacent structures. For open injuries no CT examination is needed, the clinician can handle the injury according to the degree of trauma.
