Moxibustion can be done from 5-7am in the morning, but it needs to be done under the guidance of a doctor. Moxibustion has the function of warming the meridians and dispersing cold (warming the meridians of the human body to get rid of the coldness in the body), elevating the yang and lifting up the sunken organs (elevating the yang qi of the body to lift up the sunken organs), supporting the yang and fixing the prolapsed type of disease (treating the prolapsed type of disease by replenishing the yang qi in a great way), promoting the circulation of qi and dissipating the heat and removing the toxins, and so on. 1. Warming menstruation and dispersing cold: it can be used to treat paralysis, dysmenorrhea, diarrhea and other diseases caused by poor blood-cold circulation. 2. Raising Yang and lifting up traps: it can be used to treat prolapse of anus, yin ting (prolapse of uterus or even prolapse of vagina), diarrhea, abortion, metrorrhagia (excessive menstruation or more than a few drops) and other diseases caused by weak and unfixed yang qi. 3. Supporting Yang and fixing detachment: it can be used to treat acute abdominal pain and vomiting and diarrhea, stroke and dysentery and other acute treatment of diseases. 4. Promoting circulation of qi and collaterals: it can be used for carbuncles, sores, sprains and contusions caused by stagnation of qi and blood and obstruction of meridians and collaterals. 5. Diarrhea heat and detoxification: moxibustion can also be heat-induced heat, treatment of carbuncles (a kind of poisonous sores, occurring on the surface of the body, limbs, internal organs of the acute suppurative disease), thirst and other conditions caused by the accumulation of heat and toxins. There is no strict limitation on the time of moxibustion, either in the morning or in the afternoon. Direct moxibustion is not allowed on the face, and moxibustion should not be applied to the nipples of men and women, the pubic area, the testicles, the lumbosacral area and the lower abdomen of pregnant women, and moxibustion should not be applied to patients who are suffering from high fever, coma, or convulsions. The moxibustion process should be concentrated, preferably under the guidance of a doctor.
