How is ankle tube syndrome prevented?

Ankle tubular syndrome is caused by excessive plantar flexion, dorsiflexion, and internal and external rotation of the ankle joint during strenuous exercise or prolonged exercise, resulting in repeated impact and extrusion injuries to the anterior and posterior edges of the distal tibia and the talar neck or posterior eminence, injuring the ligaments, synovial membrane, cartilage and bone of the ankle, resulting in edema and inflammatory reactions of the local ligaments and joint capsule. In severe cases, osteophytes and articular cartilage at the joint capsule attachment may be involved, resulting in significant limitation of ankle joint movement. In the early stage, the patient shows ankle pain, mostly in the anterior and posterior part of the ankle joint, with mild restriction of movement, and the pain is aggravated when running or jumping; the ankle joint bones are not abnormal on X-ray examination, and there is pressure pain in the front of the ankle joint, and the pain is aggravated when the ankle joint is plantarflexed and dorsiflexed, and some patients have swelling; in the later stage, the ankle joint pain is aggravated, the range of joint movement is reduced, and local pressure pain is obvious, and in severe cases, the front of the ankle joint can be palpated. In the later stage, the pain of the ankle joint worsens, the range of motion of the joint decreases, and local pressure pain is obvious. At this time, X-ray examination shows that the ankle joint has obvious hyperplasia and the joint space is narrowed. For the initial or mild injury, more rest should be given and the ankle should be fixed and braked with elastic bandages to relax the ligaments and joint capsule of the ankle joint and prevent the ankle from over-extension, over-bending and over-rotation. At the same time, local hot compresses, external Chinese medicine and Chinese medicine soak should be applied. If the symptoms do not ease or the condition worsens, hospital treatment is needed to prevent the condition from continuing to worsen. Severe osteophytes need to be surgically removed. Early treatment of this disease is effective, and currently local closure, Chinese herbal fumigation, massage and acupuncture can achieve good treatment results.
