Accurate location of Suoso point

The Suoso point is located on the face, right in the center of the tip of the nose. Suosao, also known as “face king”, “nose quasi” and “quasi head”, belongs to the dushi chakra. It is located on the face, right in the center of the tip of the nose, and has the effects of clearing the nasal orifices, clearing heat and fire, and soothing and awakening the mind. Suoso acupoint is mainly used for treating coma, convulsion, neonatal asphyxia, shock, respiratory failure, nasal abyss (mainly manifested as obscene nasal mucus, the amount of which cannot be wiped away), epistaxis (nosebleed). For the treatment of nasal congestion and unfavorable wheezing, it can be combined with the Qucha point, Shangxing point, and Yingxiang point; for epistaxis, it can be combined with the Zanzhu point, Tianzhu point, and Fengchi point; and for cholera, it can be combined with the Shaoshang point, Guanchong point, and Shaoze point. Acupuncture of the Suoso point should be carried out by a specialized clinician, and should not be done blindly on one’s own in order to avoid adverse reactions.
