If patients with lung cancer have bone destruction, it may be caused by bone metastasis. However, it is not necessary that all patients with bone destruction are caused by bone metastasis, and they should combine with their own situation to make comprehensive judgment.
Lung cancer bone metastasis refers to the malignant tumor outside bone tissue, which reaches bone tissue through blood line metastasis, thus causing secondary damage to bone. When
cancer cells invade bone tissues, after forming focal points, they will destroy bone structure and form fractures. If extensive bone metastasis of cancer cells occurs, obvious destruction of bone exists and hypercalcemia will occur. Patients with bone metastasis will have symptoms such as bone pain, limb numbness, soreness and decreased muscle strength.
However, not all lung cancer patients with bone destruction are necessarily due to bone metastasis. They should take into account their own conditions and conduct relevant examinations to find out the cause of the disease.
If lung cancer patients have bone destruction, they need to report to doctors in time and cooperate with doctors to take relevant treatment measures.
