How long can you live with renal pelvis cancer?

The survival time of renal pelvis cancer patients is mainly determined by the stage of the disease, the malignancy degree of the tumor and the treatment. Renal pelvic cancer is a malignant tumor that occurs in the renal pelvis and calyces, with a relatively high degree of malignancy. Since the renal pelvis is thin and the surrounding lymphatic tissue is rich, it is more likely to metastasize compared to renal cancer. The survival time of patients with this disease is mainly related to the stage of the disease, the malignancy of the tumor and the treatment. Patients with early stage or low differentiated renal pelvis cancer have a better prognosis after treatment, with a 5-year survival rate of more than 80%, while patients with advanced or highly differentiated renal pelvis cancer have a poorer prognosis, with a 5-year survival rate of less than 20%. Therefore, it is important to pay attention to regular review after surgery, and once recurrence or metastasis is detected, early treatment is needed to effectively improve the prognosis of patients. During the treatment period, patients with renal pelvis cancer need to have a balanced diet, strengthen exercise and enhance their immunity to prolong their survival time.
