Xiang Fu Zi is also known as Xiang Fu, and Guang Mu Xiang is also known as Mu Xiang. Taken together, Wuling Lipid, Xiang Fu and Mu Xiang work to move qi and relieve pain (by regulating the body’s qi), etc., and are used for stasis and blood stagnation in all pain syndromes and so on.
Wuling Resin is the dried feces of flying squirrels, while Xiangsui and Muxiang are plant-based traditional Chinese medicines. Taken together, Wu Ling Li, Xiang Fu and Mu Xiang have the efficacy of activating blood circulation and removing blood stasis, dredging the liver and relieving depression, promoting the flow of qi and relieving pain, and regulating qi and regulating the middle. The combination of the three drugs can be used to treat pains caused by blood stasis and obstruction of blood, such as stabbing pain in the epigastric region and abdomen, chest and abdominal distension, dystocia (pain in the area of coercion and ribs) caused by liver depression and stagnation of qi, fracture swelling and pain and menstrual cramps.
Wuling Lipid is warm in nature and has the effect of removing blood stasis and stopping bleeding, activating blood circulation and relieving pain. It is used for pains caused by blood stasis and obstruction, such as bone fracture, dysmenorrhea, dysmenorrhea, chest palsy (chest pain), cardiac pain, tingling in the stomach, abdomen and coils, and hemorrhagic syndrome in which blood does not circulate through the channels (the blood does not run through the channels normally). Its adverse effects are not clear, contraindication is fear of ginseng. Caution should be exercised in cases of blood deficiency without stasis and in pregnant women.
Xiang Fu is flat in nature and has the effects of dispersing the liver and relieving depression, regulating qi and relaxing the middle (regulating the qi of the spleen and stomach), regulating menstruation and relieving pain. It is mainly used for treating liver depression and stagnant Qi dystrophy, dystocia, menstrual irregularities, abdominal pain, breast distension and pain, dysmenorrhea, and qi stagnation and abdominal pain. Adverse reactions and contraindications are not clear. Caution should be exercised in cases of qi deficiency without stagnation, yin deficiency and blood heat.
Mucuna pruriens is warm in nature and has the effect of strengthening the spleen, eliminating food, moving qi and relieving pain. It is used in dysentery, vomiting, chest and abdominal distension, diarrhea. Adverse reactions and contraindications, precautions are not clear. It should be used raw to move Qi, and simmered to solidify the bowels and stop diarrhea.
Wu Ling Li, Xiang Fu and Mu Xiang should be applied under the guidance of TCM practitioners for identification of symptoms, and should not be used on their own.
