Symptoms of ligamentous laxity

The symptoms of ligamentous laxity are different in each part. Ligamentous laxity in weight-bearing joints can lead to joint instability and pain, such as cervical ligamentous laxity, which is mainly caused by long-term ambulatory work or prolonged improper posture and prolonged head bowing, and the most common symptoms are dizziness, nausea, stiffness and pain in the neck muscles, soreness, swelling and pain in the shoulder and arm, and weakness. Knee ligament laxity, mainly caused by prolonged excessive walking, strain, cold or trauma, often leads to meniscus damage, which can lead to stiffness of the knee joint, resulting in knee instability, knee valgus and X-leg or O-leg formation. The treatment is to increase muscle strength, strengthen the body, reduce the amount of exercise, pay attention to the warmth of the joints, do not walk excessively for a long time, do not maintain a posture for a long time, and reduce the excessive impact on the knee joint.
