Myoglobinuria is not always completely red, and is usually more of a soy sauce, brownish-red, or wine color. Myoglobinuria is an acute injury to muscle tissue for some reason, which causes myoglobin to be excreted from the urine, and is mainly characterized by muscle weakness, swelling, pain, and urine that is soy sauce, brownish-red, or wine-colored. It is commonly seen in crush syndrome, disseminated intravascular coagulation, polymyositis, and dermatomyositis. Normal fresh urine should be clear and transparent, usually more light to dark yellow. If myoglobinuria is present, the color of urine is mostly soy sauce, brownish red or wine color. It is recommended that patients with myoglobinuria seek immediate medical attention and follow the doctor’s instructions to further improve the relevant examinations in order to clarify the cause of the disease and then standardize the treatment.
