The pathogenesis of type 2 diabetes and daily lifestyle are closely related. Patients should pay attention to the following issues in terms of diet: 1. Control the intake of sugars: such as fruits, sugary drinks, desserts and snacks as little as possible, and control the amount of staple foods such as noodles, steamed buns and thin rice; 2. Appropriately increase the amount of side foods: such as milk, eggs, lean meat and soy products. Diabetic dietary guidelines recommend that the functional ratio of carbohydrates should not exceed 50%, more green leafy vegetables should be consumed, reduce the consumption of vegetables with high starch content, and a small amount of fruit can be appropriately added in between meals.
