What is the survival period of lung cancer?

Lung cancer is a kind of malignant tumor of the respiratory system, and the survival period of lung cancer needs to be seen according to the pathological stage of lung cancer and the degree of malignancy. If it is very early stage lung cancer, especially in situ lung cancer, the 10-year survival period may be more than 95%. If the lung cancer is intermediate or early stage, but radical surgery is performed and then combined with radiotherapy, chemotherapy and targeted drugs, it is possible to survive for more than 5 years, 10 years or even longer. In general, if the cancer has not recurred for more than 5 years, it can be said to be clinically cured. If the lung cancer is more advanced and has multiple metastases when it is detected, the survival period in such cases may not be long, most of them are within 1-2 years. Of course, if reasonable palliative anti-tumor treatment is done, there is a chance to extend the survival period.
