The route of the Foot Syncopal Liver Meridian begins at the Great Toe of the Foot and travels upward to the Lungs, where it intersects with the Hand Taiyin Lung Meridian.
The foot syncopal liver meridian starts from the big toe of the foot, circulates along the medial edge of the back of the foot, passes upward past the anterior aspect of the inner ankle, upward along the center of the medial aspect of the fibula, upward to 8 inches above the inner ankle to meet with the foot taiyin spleen meridian, and then travels after the spleen meridian, then goes upward through the medial side of the popliteal fossa, continues to move upward along the medial side of the thighs, encircling the yin organs, and then upward to the lesser abdomen, pinching the stomach, which is a part of the liver, and the cholesthesia.
Continuing upward, it passes through the diaphragm and distributes itself over the ribs of the hypochondrium; then it goes upward through the back of the throat, up to the nasopharynx, connects with the eye system, and continues upward to the frontal region, where it meets the Directing Vessel at the top of the pinnacle.
A branch, which branches off from the Eye, travels downward across the cheeks and encircles the inner lips. The other branch, from the Liver, goes up to the Lung and meets the Taiyin Lung meridian of the Hand.
