The best time to wear a birth control ring

Usually the best time to get an IUD is within 3-7 days after the end of menstruation, while women who have just given birth need to rest for a while before getting an IUD, which is generally recommended 3 months after a normal birth and 6 months after a cesarean section. For women with contraceptive requirements, they can choose to have an IUD. It is usually recommended to have an IUD 3-7 days after menstruation, during which sexual intercourse is forbidden, and gynecological ultrasound, colposcopy and routine laboratory tests of white belt should be done before the IUD, and contraindications should be excluded. In addition, 3-7 days after menstruation, the uterine lining is the thinnest and the IUD is less stimulating to the endometrium. Most women may experience a small amount of vaginal bleeding after the IUD, and some women may even experience a feeling of lower abdominal cramping and back pain. However, as time goes on, the body will gradually adapt. After the IUD, you should rest for 3-5 days, avoid heavy physical labor for half a month, forbid sex and bathing for 2 weeks, and pay attention to the cleanliness of the vulva.
