Fibroma is a lesion, it should be surgically removed, and after removal, pathological examination can be carried out to finally determine the nature. Fibroma of the abdominal wall needs to be examined before surgery, mainly ultrasonography and CT examination, to observe the shape of the fibroma and its relationship with the surrounding tissues. If the fibroid is smooth, it is basically benign. If the fibroma is burr-like, enters the surrounding tissues and has non-smooth edges, it is mostly a malignant tumor called fibrosarcoma. There is also a special case of sclerofibroma, which is usually associated with surgery and usually grows around the incision.
