Minimally invasive surgical lumpectomy-assisted thyroidectomy

Our department performs lumpectomy-assisted thyroidectomy, a minimally invasive thyroid surgery technique created by Italian surgeon Miccoli. It is a minimally invasive thyroidectomy technique created by Italian surgeon Miccoli. It is a lumpectomy-assisted thyroidectomy performed through a small incision in the neck with a short surgical scar and good cosmetic results. The incision (2 to 3 cm) is significantly smaller than that of conventional thyroid surgery, and the neck muscles are not cut, so there is less trauma, less pain, faster postoperative recovery, and no interference with neck movement. 2.Part of the operation can be done under direct vision with conventional operation techniques, which continues the rich experience of conventional thyroid surgery, accurate and intuitive, and ensures the safety of the operation. 3.Due to the magnifying effect of the lumpectomy, some microscopic structures can be magnified, and thus the nerves, vascular structures and parathyroid glands can be well identified, further reducing the incidence of surgical complications. 4.The ultrasonic knife is used during the operation, which causes little side damage when cutting tissues and effectively prevents damage to important nerves; bleeding is minimal and the surgical field is very clear; no electric current passes through the body, which is safe.
