The differences between early gastric cancer and late gastric cancer are as follows: 1. different pathology: early gastric cancer is limited to mucosal layer, while late gastric cancer lesions invade the whole gastric wall and have distant lesions metastasis; 2. different clinical manifestations: early gastric cancer patients have stomach discomfort, while late gastric cancer is cachexia, patients are severely depleted and cannot eat for a long time. The lesions metastasize organs, such as metastasis to the lung, the patient will have cough, metastasis to the brain, the patient has consciousness disorder; 3. Different treatment methods: early gastric cancer undergoes minimally invasive surgery through gastroscopy, i.e. submucosal debridement, and does not need radiotherapy. As for advanced gastric cancer, there is no chance to do complete radical surgery, only palliative surgery to remove the lesion, but the lesion cannot be completely removed and the lymph node clearance is incomplete, so it can only be symptomatic treatment. For example, if a patient cannot eat, he can have a fistula and a meal or do a gastrointestinal anastomosis to solve the problem of eating. The lung problem is treated with the target lung, and the brain problem is treated with the brain, while there is no complete solution.
