Fiberoptic bronchoscopy is well used for the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory diseases. Complications of fiberoptic bronchoscopy are relatively rare, but some people experience certain complications, including intraoperative complications and postoperative complications. Intraoperative complications include bleeding, arrhythmia, and respiratory failure, and postoperative complications include infection, bleeding, and throat discomfort. If these complications occur they should be treated actively, especially the complication of bleeding, which in severe cases requires emergency surgery and can even be life-threatening, and requires special attention, especially if the patient has a tendency to bleed.
