Cooked sesame seeds cannot eliminate gastric bloating, as sesame seeds contain more fats and oils, and consuming too much of them may cause gastric bloating, nausea, acid reflux, belching (burping) and other indigestion symptoms. Generally speaking, gastric stimulants such as domperidone and acid suppressants such as omeprazole are used for the relief and treatment of gastric distension. 1. Gastric stimulants: (1) Domperidone: it is a peripheral dopamine receptor antagonist, which can promote upper gastrointestinal motility and is suitable for acid reflux, gastric bloating, nausea and other indigestion symptoms. Use with caution in pregnant and lactating women, children, and the elderly. (2) Itopride: with dopamine D₂ receptor antagonism and acetylcholinesterase inhibitory activity, it can promote gastrointestinal motility, and is suitable for dyspeptic symptoms due to slowing down of gastrointestinal motility, including feeling of fullness in the epigastric region, epigastric pain, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting and so on. 2. Acid inhibitors: including H₂ receptor blockers such as ranitidine and cimetidine and proton pump inhibitors such as omeprazole, pantoprazole, esomeprazole, etc., which can effectively inhibit the secretion of gastric acid, thus relieving the symptoms of stomach pain, nausea, vomiting and flatulence caused by excessive secretion of gastric acid. Patients with stomach bloating should seek prompt medical attention for a clear diagnosis and targeted treatment. In addition, all of the above drugs should be used under the guidance of a doctor and should not be used without authorization.
