Adenomas are benign and generally do not heal on their own. Adenomas are generally benign tumors occurring in the glandular epithelium, and are mostly considered to be caused by pituitary tumors, mammary fibroadenomas, thymomas and other diseases, and generally do not heal on their own.
1. Pituitary tumor: Pituitary tumor is a group of tumors originated from adenopituitary gland, neuropituitary gland, and squamous epithelial remnants of embryonic craniopharyngiocyst. Patients will have headache, vision loss, visual field defect, drowsiness, excessive sweating, loss of sense of smell and other symptoms. Benign pituitary tumors do not have the possibility of self-healing.
2. Breast fibroadenoma: Breast fibroadenoma is a kind of benign breast disease, mainly caused by the abnormal sensitivity of breast fiber cells to estrogen. Patients will have painless lumps, which may appear during menstruation, such as swelling, dull pain and other symptoms. Generally, breast fibroadenoma will not be cured by itself.
3. Thymoma: Thymoma is a tumor of thymic epithelial differentiation, which mostly occurs in the anterior mediastinum. Patients will have symptoms such as dull chest pain, shortness of breath and cough. Generally, patients with thymoma do not have the possibility of self-healing.
Once diagnosed with adenoma, patients need to cooperate with the attending physician and take relevant treatment measures.
