You should not rub a bee sting with wine. The bee sting releases a neurotoxin that causes localized skin redness, itching, and pain, and in severe cases, anaphylaxis such as rapid heartbeat and difficulty breathing, which may lead to death. The concentration of alcohol in ordinary wine is relatively low and does not play a disinfecting role, and it is not effective against neurotoxins. The patient can use soapy water or sodium bicarbonate solution to clean the wound, and must pull out the poisonous sting from the skin, then disinfect it with iodophor and take anti-allergy drugs such as Benadryl to treat it. If the symptoms are more serious, you can also use glucocorticoids with the treatment to prevent anaphylaxis.
