What is a female condom?

The female contraceptive protection condom, or condom, is a female contraceptive device made of polyurethane that provides contraception and protection against sexually transmitted diseases. The female condom is transparent, soft and flexible, and has a closed plastic ring at each end. The smaller end needs to be fixed at the cervix before sex, and the other end with the larger opening is unfolded at the vulva, which can cover the vaginal entrance and the male penis when in use, effectively blocking the spread of bacteria and impeding the entry of sperm into the woman’s body to prevent pregnancy. To use it, pinch the ring of the smaller closed end tightly with your thumb and forefinger, feed it into the vagina, and put a condom over it with your forefinger to go deeper into the vagina. After use, grasp the larger open end, twist it a few times and pull it out of the body. Female condoms are effective in preventing sexually transmitted diseases and providing contraception, but they are contraindicated in cases of vaginal inflammation, vaginal deformity, uterine prolapse and other diseases, as well as in cases of allergy to condoms.
