Which is more effective, traditional or minimally invasive varicose veins?

Minimally invasive varicose veins are more effective than traditional ones. Varicose vein surgery usually refers to surgery for varicose veins of the lower limbs. Currently there are many common causes of varicose veins of the lower limbs including superficial varicose veins of the lower limbs, saphenous vein valvular insufficiency and deep vein valvular insufficiency of the lower limbs. For varicose veins of the lower limbs there are two common surgical procedures i.e. traditional open surgery and minimally invasive thermal ablation surgery. From the current clinical observations, minimally invasive treatment of varicose veins of the lower extremities is more effective and has fewer complications. Minimally invasive mainly uses laser thermal ablation and chemical ablation, which utilizes laser to thermally ablate the backbone vessels, while chemical ablation is used for the geniculate branches. Minimally invasive surgery is less invasive than traditional surgery and results in quicker recovery. The patient’s life and work are not affected by subcutaneous bruising after the surgery and the pain caused to the patient is less. If varicose vein surgery is needed, it is recommended to visit the hospital in time and follow the doctor’s instructions.
