Does the new coronavirus cause dizziness?

Dizziness, although not a typical symptom of novel coronavirus, can be manifested by novel coronavirus infection. Fever, malaise and dry cough are the main manifestations of novel coronavirus pneumonia, but several atypical cases have been identified during the diagnosis and treatment of novel pneumonia. By repeatedly taking medical histories, doctors have confirmed that patients have a history of exposure to coronavirus pneumonia without obvious fever and related respiratory symptoms. Some patients have neurological symptoms as the first symptoms, such as headache and dizziness; some patients have digestive system as the first symptoms, such as vomiting and diarrhea. Some patients have ophthalmologic symptoms as their first symptoms, such as conjunctivitis. These atypical patients can be diagnosed by chest CT and pharyngeal swabs, and novel coronavirus nucleic acid testing.
