Second, see the strain, such as long time holding heavy objects or hand holding heavy work, it is easy to lead to excessive force and strain on the tendons of the thumb, thus causing the thumb twitch. Thirdly, it is seen in calcium deficiency, especially in the middle-aged and elderly people if they lack calcium, it will easily lead to thumb twitching, and will cause osteophytes and osteoporosis of the thumb joint.
