How to take medroxyprogesterone acetate tablets for uterine bleeding

Methylhydroxyprogesterone acetate tablets are used for irregular menstruation, dysfunctional uterine bleeding and endometriosis.
1. Dysfunctional uterine bleeding (dysfunctional hemorrhage) to stop bleeding: oral, once 10-20mg, once every 4-8 hours, for 2-3 days; after the bleeding stops, reduce the dosage by 1/3 every 3 days until the maintenance dose of 100mg per day, and discontinue the medication until 21 days after the bleeding stops.
2. Adjustment of menstrual cycle for dysmenorrhea: start to take 10mg orally in the second half of menstrual cycle (the 16th to 25th day of withdrawal bleeding), once 10 to 14 days in a row, and apply for 3 to 6 cycles as appropriate.
It should be noted that, hepatic and renal insufficiency, cerebral infarction, myocardial infarction, thrombophlebitis and other patients with a history of thrombosis, undiagnosed bleeding from the sexual organs, urinary bleeding, a history of allergy to the product is prohibited.
