What training programs can be done for vestibular sensory disorders

Vestibular dysesthesia is considered to be a vestibular dysfunction, and the training programs that can be done include habituation training, Cawthome-cooksey training, and gaze stabilization improvement training.
1. Cawthome-cooksey training: This method is to look for movements and positions that will cause dizziness in patients, so as to complete these movements with fast enough speed and large amplitude, so as to produce mild to moderate performance, and then gradually increase the intensity of the movement after the body has adapted to it. Generally, it is necessary to train 2 times a day, 2~3 times a time, and rest for about 1 minute between each time.
2. Cawthome-cooksey training: this includes vestibular adaptation and vestibular substitution training, which can promote vestibular compensation to a certain extent, which is conducive to the improvement of the disease.
3. Improvement of gaze stabilization training: This method refers to the method of stabilizing the head by keeping the eye movement at the same speed as the head movement, but in the opposite direction, so as to improve the gaze function.
Research shows that the training program about vestibular dysfunction has achieved good results in the clinic. Doctors will formulate individualized training according to the actual situation of the patients, and the patients only need to actively cooperate with the doctors and strengthen the management of daily life.
