Pulmonary fibrosis is currently incurable and can only be treated with therapy and rehabilitation exercises to improve symptoms and quality of life. The treatment of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis includes antifibrotic drugs, non-pharmacological treatments, symptomatic treatment and patient education. 1. Anti-fibrotic drugs: It has been proven that drugs such as pirfenidone and nidazepam can slow down the decline of lung function brought about by pulmonary fibrosis, and reduce symptoms such as dyspnea. 2. Non-pharmacological treatments: These include respiratory support therapy such as oxygenation and non-invasive ventilator-assisted ventilation, and encouraging patients with pulmonary fibrosis to do as much rehabilitation as possible to improve lung function. 3. Lung transplantation: It is the most effective treatment at present, and patients with conditions are encouraged to receive lung transplantation. 4. Symptomatic treatment: Take appropriate medication to alleviate symptoms such as cough and dyspnea. 5. Patient education: Advise patients to quit smoking, prevent influenza and pneumonia, and reduce factors that aggravate the disease. If the patient has pulmonary fibrosis, please consult a doctor for further clarification of the cause of the disease and early treatment and intervention if necessary.
