Escitalopram oxalate tablets, properly called escitalopram oxalate tablets, do not usually cause leg numbness to occur, but may cause adverse reactions such as arthralgia, myalgia, nausea, and headache. Escitalopram oxalate tablets have antidepressant properties and are indicated for the treatment of depression, anxiety disorders, and panic disorder with or without agoraphobia. Adverse reactions after the use of the drug are manifested in a variety of ways, targeting the musculoskeletal system, such as arthralgia and myalgia, whereas it does not usually lead to the occurrence of numbness in the legs. The drug should be contraindicated in people who are allergic to the product, known to suffer from QT interval prolongation or congenital QT syndrome, in addition to the concomitant use of non-selective, irreversible monoamine oxidase inhibitors, such as isoniazid, moclobemide, selegiline, etc.; as well as linezolid, pimozide. The drug should be applied in strict compliance with medical advice, and should not be used on its own to avoid serious consequences.
