Can you see the thyroid in ENT?

Whether the ENT department can see the thyroid depends on the detailed allocation of the hospital department. If the hospital is relatively large, the thyroid is classified under general surgery for treatment. However, if the otolaryngology department is strong, such as including otorhinolaryngology head and neck surgery, thyroid can also be treated in otolaryngology. It is recommended that the patient clarify in detail the affiliation of the department and then decide in which department to be treated. Most thyroid disorders are benign nodules or tumors that often require surgery, usually done under general anesthesia, and sometimes minimally invasive methods are used to resolve them. After symptomatic treatment, the patient’s thyroid lesions should improve significantly.
