A protrusion above the right scrotum when urinating hard is considered to be caused by inguinal hernia, syringomyelia, and varicocele, and ultrasound examination needs to be given in order to clarify the etiology.
1. Inguinal hernia: due to the presence of congenital non-closure of the syringomyelia, weak abdominal wall muscles, and increased abdominal pressure, it is formed due to the increase of abdominal pressure during urination, resulting in the protrusion of the contents of the abdominal cavity such as intestines and the greater omentum from the weak area.
2. Syringomyelia: It is the accumulation of fluid in the syringomyelia due to various reasons, and there are various types, such as testicular syringomyelia, spermatic cord syringomyelia, and traffic syringomyelia.
3. Varicose veins of the spermatic cord: standing position during urination can lead to tortuous expansion of the spermatic cord veins in the groin above the scrotum, forming a venous mass that manifests itself as a protrusion.
It is recommended that the patient go to the hospital, improve the auxiliary examination, in order to clarify the etiology of the protrusion.
