Once detected, chondrodysplasia can only be treated symptomatically, as there is no fundamental treatment for this genetically related disease. The following treatments are commonly used: 1) Early treatment with braces, such as spinal braces, can be used to prevent deformities in the spine, which can cause deformities in the patient’s body and stimulate compression of the nervous system. 2) Severe deformities in the limbs can be treated with osteotomies and orthopedic surgery.
