Salmeterol ticarcoson aerosol is a combination of salmeterol and fluticasone propionate. Salmeterol is a long-acting β2-adrenergic receptor agonist, which can relax bronchial smooth muscle; fluticasone propionate belongs to the glucocorticoid, which can produce strong anti-inflammatory effect of glucocorticoid in the lungs after inhalation, and thus can reduce the symptoms and attacks of asthma.
Salmeterol ticarcoson aerosol is available in a variety of dosage specifications, and the appropriate dosage should be selected according to the severity of the disease. Adverse reactions such as oral and pharyngeal candida infections, headache, hoarseness, and dysphonia may occur after administration by oral inhalation. The treatment of this product should not be interrupted abruptly, and the dose should be gradually reduced under the supervision of a physician.
