In the early stage of colon cancer, one can choose either general open surgical resection treatment or minimally invasive surgical treatment through laparoscopy. In general, minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery is less traumatic to the human body and the body recovers relatively quickly. In contrast, when colon cancer reaches the middle and late stages, the clinical treatment is generally based on open surgery.
