How to preserve the decoction of Chinese medicine

It is very easy to preserve the decoction of Chinese medicine. After decocting the Chinese medicine, you can put it directly into the refrigerator and freeze it. If you want to take them after freezing, you can reheat them at home, which can basically preserve the properties and functions of the medicine. If you don’t have a refrigerator, you can keep it in a cooler place for a while. Alternatively, it can be kept in cold or ice water, and the temperature can be lowered appropriately. Most Chinese medicines are decoctions, which are prone to deterioration over a long period of time and are best kept at low temperature; other dosage forms, such as bulk, pills, and elixirs, are kept for a longer period of time.
