The biggest side effect of valsartan amlodipine is peripheral edema and is the most common reason for discontinuation. This product is a combination of valsartan and amlodipine, the main ingredients of which include valsartan and amlodipine. Valsartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker and amlodipine is a dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker. The two drugs are used synergistically in patients with moderate to severe hypertension and in patients whose blood pressure cannot be adequately controlled by a single drug. The administration of this product can lead to adverse reactions such as peripheral edema, nasopharyngitis, upper respiratory tract infections, dizziness, palpitations, children, nausea and vomiting, diarrhea and abdominal pain, fever, facial edema, gingival hyperplasia, and facial flushing. Note allergic to the product, severe renal impairment, hyperkalemia patients are prohibited. Special Population: contraindicated for pregnant and lactating women. Patients must use the drug under the guidance of a specialized physician and strictly comply with medical advice.
