Bleeding after sexual intercourse is a form of contact bleeding. Blood in the leucorrhoea after sexual intercourse should be considered as a possibility of acute cervicitis, cervical cancer, cervical polyps or submucosal fibroids of the uterus. It is advisable to seek medical advice for an early diagnosis and to avoid sexual intercourse during the onset of symptoms.
