Strenuous exercise is not allowed during the recovery period after cerebral aneurysm intervention, and running is generally not recommended, and appropriate exercise can be done after the recovery period.
For patients with unruptured cerebral aneurysm, running and other strenuous exercise should be avoided as much as possible for 3 months after the intervention, in order to prevent large fluctuation of blood pressure, which will affect the recovery of the aneurysm, and some simple sports can be carried out, such as walking slowly.
For patients with ruptured cerebral aneurysm, they should be absolutely bedridden after intervention, prohibit all sports, and can get out of bed after the absorption of intracranial hematoma. After half a year’s review, if the recovery is good, then start to do some simple sports.
One of the risk factors of cerebral aneurysm rupture is high blood pressure, fluctuation amplitude, so patients with cerebral aneurysm should control the blood pressure stable, control emotions, prevent blood pressure fluctuation, try to avoid some high-intensity high-load sports.
