How long can a person with H. pylori live?

Patients with H. pylori infection can live like normal people. Unless the survival time is shortened if the H. pylori infection is accompanied by secondary gastric cancer. After infection, H. pylori may cause gastritis, gastric erosion, peptic ulcer, and gastric cancer. The first three diseases will have stomach discomfort, suggesting the need for gastroscopy to clarify. After the diagnosis is confirmed, it needs to be treated with acid-suppressing and gastric mucosa-protecting drugs according to H. pylori at the same time, and after the treatment, its survival time is the same as normal people. If H. pylori infection is detected along with suggestive gastric cancer, the survival time is the same as that of normal gastric cancer.
