The effects of taking anti-inflammatory drugs when you don’t know you’re pregnant

Since there are an exceptionally wide variety of anti-inflammatory drugs, the effects of taking anti-inflammatory drugs without knowing that you are pregnant can vary greatly. If a woman is taking a cephalosporin-based antibiotic or penicillin without knowing she is pregnant, there is usually no effect on pregnancy because even pregnant women can take cephalosporin-based antibiotics. However, if a woman is taking antibiotics such as levofloxacin, gentamicin or ornidazole, this may have an adverse effect on the fetus, as it can easily lead to abnormal embryonic development causing spontaneous abortion and may also lead to abnormal fetal growth, and the possible effects need to be diagnosed depending on the specific type of anti-inflammatory drug.
