Xiaokan Tire generally refers to Citrus aurantium, a traditional Chinese medicine that can be used to break up qi and eliminate stagnation (break up stagnation of qi and eliminate accumulation of food), dissolve phlegm and dissipate lumps, and can be used to treat dietary stagnation, abdominal distension and pain, and other illnesses.
Hovenia dulcis has a bitter, pungent and sour taste, is slightly cold in nature, and belongs to the spleen and stomach meridians. It can be used to treat stagnation of internal stagnation, plumpness (stomach fullness and discomfort) and distension, diarrhea and dysentery, inability to pass stool, phlegm stagnation and qi obstruction, pectoral paralysis (chest tightness and pain), knotting of the chest, and prolapse of organs.
Citrus aurantium should be used with caution in pregnant women. Hovenia dulcis can be decocted with water or taken in pills or powder, and can also be powdered and applied externally.
Citrus aurantium needs to be used under the guidance of a doctor, and should not be used on its own to avoid adverse reactions.
