What’s wrong with pregnant women who get occasional stomach pains?

Occasional stomach pain in pregnant women may be caused by physiologic pain, pregnancy-related abdominal pain, and acute abdomen during pregnancy.
1. Physiological pain: Usually during pregnancy, the uterus volume will increase several times rapidly, especially for pregnant women with excessive amniotic fluid. Due to excessive stretching of the abdominal skin, endocrine levels and other factors, stretch marks, a skin change, may occur, which may occasionally be accompanied by abdominal discomfort and stomach pain.
2. Abdominal pain related to pregnancy: generally miscarriage, placental abruption, intrauterine infection and other diseases can lead to abdominal pain or epigastric pain.
3. Acute abdomen in pregnancy: Acute gastroenteritis, appendicitis, cholecystitis and other diseases can present with acute abdomen manifestations, i.e. abdominal pressure, rebound pain and abdominal muscle tension.
There may be other causes of occasional stomach pain in pregnant women, and it is recommended to consult a doctor in time to clarify the cause and regular treatment.
