Causes of high lymphocyte count

High lymphocyte counts are divided into physiologic and pathologic increases. It may be due to childhood, viral infections, hematologic disorders, and the use of drugs.
1. Physiological increase: It is seen in infants from 4~6 days after birth to children of 6 years old, and the lymph count is higher than that of adults. This is a normal physiological phenomenon, and there is no need to worry too much, and no need for special treatment.
2. Viral infections: If one’s immunity is low, it will easily lead to the invasion of viruses and viral infections. When there is measles, rubella, hepatitis virus infection, the lymphocyte count will rise.
3. Blood system diseases: seen in acute and chronic lymphocytic leukemia and other diseases, blood routine suggests that the lymphocyte count is obviously high.
4. Use of drugs: If aspirin, levodopa, phenytoin sodium and other drugs are often used in normal times, it will lead to a pathological increase in lymphocytes.
When there is an unexplained increase in lymphocyte count, you should consult a doctor in time to find out the cause and get early treatment.
