Mild concussions are mild traumatic brain injuries. Sequelae may vary due to differences in the child’s physical condition and the effectiveness of treatment, and commonly include dizziness, headache, and neurologic dysfunction. Sequelae of children due to mild brain injury after 3 months mainly include a series of syndromes such as cognitive, somatic, emotional and autonomic dysfunction, which are mainly manifested as headache, dizziness, neurological dysfunction, etc., and may also include excessive sweating, fatigue, insomnia, inattentiveness, and emotional instability. In 90% of children, the symptoms resolve spontaneously within 14 days, but some may persist for several weeks, which may affect the child’s life and learning. Children with mild concussion should go to the hospital in time and be treated under doctor’s guidance, pay attention to bed rest, avoid strenuous exercise, eat a light diet and balanced nutrition.
