(2) Symptoms of cardiac neurosis can occur before going to sleep, when trying to wake up and just waking up, manifesting as palpitations, precordial pain, shortness of breath, and so on. Commonly used drugs include sedatives such as diazepam, beta-blockers such as metoprolol, and autonomic regulators such as ghrelin.
