Liver metastasis of kidney cancer indicates that the disease has entered the advanced stage of kidney cancer. For those who are in good health and physical function, surgery is recommended as the first choice to remove the primary lesion and relieve the symptoms through nephrectomy. Those in good physical condition can undergo simultaneous resection of liver metastases to improve the quality of survival. If kidney cancer cells are insensitive to chemotherapy and radiotherapy and there is no chance of surgery, molecular targeting therapy can be used to inhibit the progression of cancer cells. For those without any symptoms in early stage, CT scan of liver, lung and cranial brain is needed to clarify the existence of early metastasis.
